More than 3.75 million users are affected by a recent data breach at the handyperson-for-hire site TaskRabbit, a company spokeswoman confirmed Monday.
San Francisco-based TaskRabbit, now owned by furniture giant Ikea, said in April that it had suffered a “cybersecurity incident." The company has said that in some cases, a hacker may have gained access to Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, and other personal information.
